How “sharing” can happen
LifeDesk shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show personalized ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and general device information. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), this may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Similar laws in other US states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas, give you the right to opt out of targeted advertising.
How to opt out
You can use any of these options. You don’t need an account, and the opt-out takes effect on your device right away.
- In the app: Go to Profile → Privacy & Data → Ad Privacy Options and choose to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. The app will then ask Google to show only non-personalized or restricted ads.
- On iPhone: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track, or turn off tracking for LifeDesk.
- On Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Security & privacy → Ads) and tap Delete advertising ID.
Because we don’t hold any information that identifies you, we can’t apply an opt-out for you from our side. Please use one of the options above on each device where you use LifeDesk.

You may also have the right to know, access, correct and delete personal information. BZOTech doesn’t hold personal information about you, so you can manage your LifeDesk data directly in the app. See Delete Your Data. For information processed by Google, see Google’s Privacy Policy. We will never discriminate against you for using any of these rights. LifeDesk is not directed to children under 13 or teens under 16, and we do not knowingly sell or share their personal information.
